Participants worked closely with Research Mentors—members of the UNS Literary Research Commission—who offered 1-on-1 guidance, personalized feedback, and support throughout the program. From clarifying complex concepts to refining drafts, mentors ensured each student had the tools and confidence to excel in the world of research and academic writing.
Over six weeks, six talented students participated in UNS’s Literary Research Program, an innovative initiative designed to guide aspiring researchers through the process of writing and publishing scientific literature. This highly selective and entirely free program provided students with step-by-step asynchronous lessons covering key elements of scientific writing, including literature reviews, meta-analyses, and hypothetical research papers.
